On September 17th, the Cambodian Ministry of Mines and Energy issued a notice suspending the acceptance of new license applications from rooftop solar system installation service enterprises until further notice. The Photovoltaic Installation Service License (RTS Qualification) is issued by the Electricity Authority of Cambodia (EAC) and is the core certificate for enterprise access; Preliminary approval issued by the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MME) is a prerequisite for enterprise admission; The 'Photovoltaic Installation and Grid Connection Project License' at the project level is also issued by EAC, requiring 'one project, one certificate'.
